Fishing in reservoirs

Reservoirs are dammed waters, often with great depth and pronounced underwater structure. They hold trophy predators such as pike, zander and catfish as well as large coarse fish stocks.

Depth edges, flooded old riverbeds and dam walls are promising. A fish finder and - where permitted - boat fishing help locate fish in large reservoirs.
