Do I have to make my catches public to share them with the team?

No. Like Stefan in the example, you can keep your catches private and still release them specifically to your team. Your teammates then see your exact spots - publicly they stay invisible.

Can everyone in the team see my exact catch spots?

Only if you want them to. For each catch you decide whether to add it to the team at all and whether the exact location is shared. Private catches without team release stay solely with you.

Yes. A team's collected catches can be downloaded as a PDF overview or a CSV table - handy for analyses or the club archive.
