All water-body, regulatory and factual information provided on angelradar – in particular details on closed seasons, minimum sizes, catch limits, permitted fishing methods and lures, boat and navigation regulations, water-body boundaries, club responsibilities as well as other legal or local requirements – is based wholly or partly on data compiled by the community, collected automatically and/or derived from publicly accessible sources.

Information may be incomplete, outdated, faulty or simply wrong.

The use of all information is entirely at your own responsibility and at your own risk. Each user is personally obliged to independently and carefully check the applicable regulations before every fishing trip. Always solely authoritative and legally binding are:

  • the valid fishing permit (fishing licence) for the respective water body,
  • the official requirements of the responsible fishing authorities, clubs and water-body managers,
  • the applicable state and federal legal provisions (in particular the state fishing acts and ordinances), and
  • local notices, signage and official orders on site.

angelradar assumes no liability whatsoever for damages, fines, penalties, legal disadvantages or other consequences arising from a user having relied on or used the community information provided. In case of doubt, the following always applies without exception: The official source always takes precedence over the information on angelradar.
