Der Millstätter See ist ein See nördlich des Drautals in der Nähe der Stadt Spittal an der Drau in Kärnten (Österreich). Er liegt in 588 m ü. A., ist 11,5 Kilometer lang und bis zu 1,8 Kilometer breit und nach dem Wörthersee Kärntens zweitgrößter See, jedoch mit 141 Metern der tiefste und mit 1204,5 Millionen Kubikmetern auch der wasserreichste See des Landes. Größere Ansiedlungen am See finden sich ausschließlich am Nordufer, darunter sind Seeboden, Millstatt und Döbriach die drei größten Ortschaften.
