De Koushaven, gegraven in 1912 in Nieuw-Mathenesse in Rotterdam-West, was de laatst ontworpen, maar de eerste voltooide haven in het Vierhavensgebied. De haven dankt haar naam aan de Kous, een bevaarbare geul die in vroeger tijden Delfshaven scheidde van de Ruigeplaat, die zich voor de haveningang van Delfshaven in de Nieuwe Maas had gevormd.
