The Bite Score estimates from real community catches how good the conditions for fishing are - from 0 to 100. Play with moon phase, air pressure, weather and time of day and see instantly how your chance of a catch changes.
The Angelradar Bite Score compares the conditions you select with the conditions under which fish were actually caught in the past. If there are no catches yet for your water, we automatically fall back to similar waters of the same water type in your region - and finally to the entire community. This way you always get an estimate, even for waters with little data.
Every catch brings weather, air-pressure and moon data with it. From this we learn which conditions were successful at which water.
Every factor - time of day, moon phase, air pressure, weather - openly shows how strongly it pushes the Bite Score up or down.
The more catches feed into the calculation, the more reliable the value. With little data, the Bite Score deliberately stays cautiously near the middle.
